Balon and I were just in a Iffy party that was up to some silly shit, and since I haven't posted any new Iffy stuff lately I subject you all to stuff you probably don't care about!
I finally got my parser working (go go running as admin) and since every once in a while people ask about what kind of DPS is good in Ifrit for what class…
This was an earlier run, but I want to include it because the #2 slot is a LNC who died 3 times during the run and still hit #2. Crazy high DPS!
This is a pretty good general map of the average DPS of a pick up group when not class stacking on Ifrit. Top is THM, damage only that high because we didn't stack THM/LNC so I cheated. Second is LNC. Third is our resident Balon as a MRD, pretty decent DPS considering how rough it is to pull off. Fourth is ARC, a very good one that doesn't die often. Fifth is THM. Only 20 hits, so you can see why macc is so important. Stack that shit to 460 my fellow casters! Sixth is, of course, the tank and the last slots are the healers.
This is a good map with class stacking, though we had one ARC. Top two are THM, third is LNC, fourth is THM at the average THM damage range, fifth is ARC and Sixth is tank.
And just for fun… this is what I was doing for the above run. First time healing. So yes, it is possible, though stressful, for me to take a healing role at level 49 CNJ in all THM gear. So if I absolutely have to fill in… there you go. :P
People are now discussing Ifrit/Moogle with jobs. Apparently Moogle is easier than ever and Ifrit just requires you to take out all nails by putting one DD on each.
Benediction sounds like a good idea. How big is the range for it though? Would one WHM have to go to the nukers and the other stay with the tank and melee?
