Some very exciting stuff in there.

Lots of crafting changes, seems like a bit of a pain but I'm sure it won't take long to get used to.

Hamlet defence sounds awesome, however 50 HOURS in between combat phases? That seems a little much.

Well I'm sure someone will make a clock for it. Not really hard to make something to track 75 hour cycles, 50 hours of prep and 25 of battle.

So it seems the Hamlet defense will award new crafting and gathering gear, though only the Hyrstmill stuff is listed for now. Level 50 Culinarian, Alchemist and Miner tools, and a Level 50 Botany hat.

Well they didn't specify but they also use minutes in numbers that would most likely mean Earth time. 15 minutes wait in-game is hardly a wait.

I posted this observation on the frontpage feed but I'll put it here for better formatting/relevance.

Avengers Pugilist's Arm Required Level: 50／Requires: PGL
Garuda's Talons Pugilist's Arm Required Level: 50／Requires: PGL MNK

I really hope that this difference in notation isn't indicative of a Class-only gear item. I certainly don't want Avengers if I can't use them on MNK. I was looking forward to strapping those Borg ships to my hands and assimilating the world with my fists but I'm a little iffy about it now.

I noticed we need to do a GC quest before having Garuda access, so you may want to log out at your company's city just before the maintenance ^^

Hmm, I hadn't noticed that, Tywin. That's kinda lame if that's the case.

Also, tracking the 75 hour cycles isn't really a big deal, Arcell. I just think it sucks that there is a 2 day wait in between the battle event components.

I mean I get why they did that, they want to give ample opportunity to the DoL and DoH classes to contribute during the re-supply phases. Which is great, but 50 hours seems a bit much, imo.

Tywin, it really seems that this is the case. I'm still getting a pair for novelty's sake but yeah, class only fail. I mean I get that they want to keep classes relevant too, this is a good way to do it. Maybe we should go on classes for extra raises until we get Garuda down? I just want to justify using the new equipment lol.

Was I the only one that didn't find some of the new weapons in the patch notes? I swear I missed the bow and the conj weapons, maybe more.
