Barring any explosions, mutilations, or downright debauchery, the Prestige Leadership has come to an agreement to join up with Luna Veneris to form a Free Company so that we may bolster our numbers, form a stronger community, and go H.A.M on all that shit.

You may visit their site here and have a look around. Due to the nature of Free Companies, the purpose of LV is to progress, help, and do end-game content. That being said, not everyone can be grandfathered in to LV. Prestige will still be here as a LS, but will be primarily functioning as a more social venue.

We all look forward to seeing you in game, in Prestige, and hopefully in LV. We understand that people have lives, and plans, and friends, and you don't have to come with us to LV. We just wanted to make our intent public :)

Right on. I submitted an application for the free company. So, does this mean that Prestige will fold? Seems that communication will be easier in game if people have like "pearls" equipped…no? I will be around regardless, hopefully I can continue to smash down with all you cool peeps!

No prestige will always be around, linkshells function more like chat channels in 2.0 so if you have other FC plans or just don't want to be a part of LV you are welcome to stay in prestige and chat and smash with us there.

That being said events like we organized in 1.0 will all be done through the FC so if you wish to partake in that with us on a regular basis then LV would be the place to go. Other than that we'll still do pick ups and randoms runs/ helping outs with prestige and the rest of the server as always. Don't worry prestige, i'll never give you up!

So with all the time and attention being poured into the FC for 2.0 i just wanted to take a moment to state that anyone not planning to joing LV or who doesn't get into LV for wtvr reason don't be down. If it means anything myself ( and i'm sure the rest of LS leadership) will always be down to run dungeons/exp/wtvr with LS mates whenever possible. I'd hate for any of you to think that Prestige will get lost somewhere in the forming of the FC.
