We all want gear/items so lets get them! How is this and feel free to modify it: Schedule more runs of EVERYTHING, every day of the week but limit the runs. People have shit to do and have to get up early so limit runs to say 2. If they want to keep going hell nothing better or more efficient than a ls run. Iffy and Moogle are effectivly dead for the masses but toss them in for the people that still need them. CC AV Hammy are shit people want so schedule them. Maybe limit them to the max capacity and if you miss the run you take minus DKP. Set second run for an hour later and fill in with people that want to continue. Speaking of DKP, IMO needs to be utilized NOW. LET THE BIDDING BEGIN!!!! It helps people get gear and creates competition which will attract people. Ok rant ended, time for another shot and a beer. May the temp always stay below 64 to keep your nipples hard!

I effed up my guildworks settings. I can't see my linkshells schedules at all even. I think things are pretty open if you want to schedule something though, right? idk how it works really.

There may be a shortage of people that have the capability and time to lead more scheduled AV,CC, and Ham runs. I think many people are pugging it when they have time or making like small statics with people who have similar schedules.

Leading and directing shit can be stressful. I personally don't have the brain or the composure. I just don't have it. I can direct people to videos and tell them what I remember I have seen but leaders for successful AV, CC, Ham runs usually know when somethings wrong and what needs to be done to fix it. I don't have the balls (even though I look like I should) to direct people and ,if needed, tell players what to do to fix what they keep failing at.

Maybe look into setting up statics for the things you want to do? That way you could get familiar w/ the groups play-style get things down quicker and once you all know it by heart you can chat and bullshit your way through 10 speedruns or 60k hams no sweat. You could also have your own loot rules for your static if you want. If a couple people in your static cant make it finding one or two people to pug isnt too bad most of the time.

I personally would like to find a Garuda static that would be willing to wipe for like 3 hours two nights a week if needed, till people in the static got the weapons they want. Players willing to meld gear and bring food to reach stat caps and also watch numerous vids of successful runs if needed to help find working strats and all that jazz would be a plus.

I need shit from AV, CC, and Ham but I burn out quicker on those so I could only do like a 2 hour Ham static like twice a week lol. AV and CC I can go pretty okay for a few hours if the groups run cookie cutter makeups so I can zone out while doing it (yeah I'm lame) lol.

Yeah, anyone can make events, just change the priority from normal so people can tell the difference; member-made events won't be DKP earning. The way we have it set up now is the events are there as an organizational tool, but you aren't required to come to them all, though you are expected if you sign up.

The nights we currently have events are the nights that most of the people said they were available.

Oh and I'm not saying like uh to do away with all inclusive linkshell scheduling all together and stuff. Its just Prestige is pretty big now and that sure is a lot of people to direct I imagine a lot of peeps would have to be benched a lot now because groups are still little 8 man groups :(

I think we should have low level gear subligar only foot races from Limsa to Ishgard with prizes for the winners or something. No fist of wind or swiftsong. Also too bad there isnt dueling. We could have a fight club.

The problem with the grouping is that it must be divisible by 8. We rarely have just 8 or 16 players so that means people have to sit out and whatnot.

Realistically speaking, how many perma-members does the LS have right now? I like Slev's idea of scheduling more events and runs. I would suggest adding things some time in advance so that people don't get caught by an event so suddenly. More runs means more practice, which is always a good thing. I'm going to be quite frank though, if you're going to sign up for a dungeon/ham/primal, please make sure you do your best to do your homework (i.e. gear up and research strats). This won't guarantee a perfect win, but it will help tremendously. We might have different ideas on how to do something, so communication is key! :)
DKP, wellll that's a whole other story I think. In my opinion it has no reason to exist; there are definitely other ways of distributing loot in a fair manner.

P.S.: Niko, the LS needs more naked fun-runs, I agree!! Prize or no, I would love to attend one ^.^

Well, how well geared are we talking here? I mean I do decently with just AF but would that be considered well enough geared? If it's not then I'm going to have to sit out of our events because I don't have the gil or motivation to really start blowing things up for those best of the best stats.
