Found in sidequests, etc. This is from "Best Flower Ever", a lvl10 sidequest at the Golden Bazaar:
Sasapano: And here comes my savior now─Silvano Dodosbane! Well done, friend, well done. Sasapano: And look what I have here─my Azeyma rose! It was lying right near the entrance to the cave. I count my blessings it wasn't trampled underfoot by those disease-ridden dodos─or the Garleans, for that matter. Sasapano: What do you suppose they were doing in that cave, anyway? I can't think of anything down there that would warrant making the trip from Garlemald. Sasapano: <gasp> Gods be good! Do you think they're preparing to attack Ul'dah!? Sasapano: Hold your tongue, Dodosbane! You should not say such things, even in jest! Sasapano: Here, take your reward, before your blasphemies compel me to withhold it from you!
Eternal Recurrence (Dyrstbrod, Gridania (7,3), Grand Company Quest):
Dyrstbrod: She (Kan-E-Senna) explained that when the life of a thing reaches its end, it often returns to us in the form of a gift─be it a hide or lumber. Just so, the items we create from these gifts have lives of their own, and go on to return to the earth. Dyrstbrod: Yet through all those births and deaths, the essences of things are not changed at all. She said that when we come to know that─truly know it─then our eyes will be opened. Dyrstbrod: The leather armor worn by the brave souls who fell at Fallgourd Lake was a case in point, she said. Should it be reclaimed by the forest's soil, it will come to nurture seeds and feed their sprouts, and it will be our duty to protect that new life. Thus, that which once protected us will in turn benefit from our protection. Dyrstbrod: Her words struck a chord in me, and shamed me at the same time. But then, that is the power of Kan-E-Senna. Dyrstbrod: I was too intent on my duties to even take notice… I saw the cost of everything, yet the value of nothing. Yet now I see that I am here now because of life's march─its cycle. That I am the same as those scraps of leather, part of a far greater whole. Dyrstbrod: This terrible danger said to be threatening Eorzea─perhaps it too is but a part of this grand scheme. If so, there is no need to grieve its coming.
