I don't know about the rest of you but i'm constantly changing around the config of my chat log/ placement of my UI cause i'm never satisfied with it, so i'm begging some one to show me a way to do it that works, i'll leave a SS with my current set up as of this morning.

I just leave my chat boxes in their default spot in the lower left corner. Both stacked, goes about half way up the screen. Set them to be a little clear so I can see through them when not active.
I do the same thing Arcell does. My eyes are kinda dumb though, so I set the logs to stay darkened so I can see better. I've got general/chat at the bottom, and battle/enemy at the top.
Beyond that I think the only UI element I've played around with is the exp bar (size and placement).
I have a similar set up: - LS chat & Party chat only tab - /Tells only tab (still use chime) - Battle Actions only tab - General Tab (For System messages, /say, /shout, npc text, crafting related text, exp gains, etc.)
My chat logs wont appear when I take a screen shot. Maybe my dad was right when he said the G.E.D. I won at the county fair doesn't count. O'DOYLE RULEZ!
Anyway I set up one log for talking (Ls, shouts, emotes) only and the other for battle info only. I filtered out any unnecessary crap just for clutter sake. Wish they would have the auto collapse feature added some time when chat is idol. Learned from Silvanos screen shot that you can stretch your hp/mp bar so that was a plus.
