So since food is actually useful now, I figure we should discuss and figure out which foods are best for what purposes. For the sake of the discussion, let's figure out the best foods for cap first before worrying about lower levels. Also once we get the lists filled out to a decent extent we can move this to guides or the wiki.

Figured it was easier to list the best 4 food if there are 4 for each class you listed, i'm not finished yet this is work in progress i just needed a 5min breather.

For Bard the Jerked beef was okay, but seems wasteful since I do not get the full Attack bonus. I will look into alternatives.

For Dragoon, I was using Aldgoat Steak, but since there is higher, I'm sure there is better. I still would not, as would most, not get the full benefit from Jerked Beef.

Looking at Mooglebox, Smoked-raptor seems appropriate. Attack Power : +8% (41 max), Str : +3% (6 max). One would cap this out at around 525ish+ Attack Power. Strength is a given since 6 max would be something around 100 STR give or take a few points.

For an accuracy alternative, maybe Tuna Miq'abob or Salt Cod Puffs.

Tuna Miq'abob
Accuracy : +8% (24 max), Control : +9% (9 max), Str : +3% (6 max)

Salt Cod Puffs:
Accuracy : +7% (34 max), Control : +8% (11 max), Dex : +3% (7 max)

I take the Cabbage; doesn't cap because it also gives control. Otherwise, I'd go with the Jerked Beef, but that's personal preference. If you wanna equip me with all these foods I'll be happy to parse em on DRG for ya ;)

The biggest issue is WHM i guess they best they can get is magic acc and MND or MP, or just plain HP for survivability.

Bard is still a slight issue since the Jerked Beef Atk Power is wasted. The Piety is nice, but there are so few other alternatives for Piety in food. Not to mention we have no clue still which stats effect songs.

But DD is DD and acc or attack is always good i'd say you are probably better off with raptor or steak or acc food (i'd probably say acc since there is so much on your AF right?) Plus arrows = money, make every shot count!

Honestly, I miss less on Bard than on Dragoon, at least from what I notice. Then again, I don't spend a lot of time paying attention since I'm more worried about shooting period and keeping songs up.

And once I get that Acc necklace I'll be set pretty nicely.

Well

So it's definitely not Piety. Can we get someone to test Vit?

MP and Mind. M.Acc is nice if you're doing some nuking on the side but White Mage is a healer and heals can't miss lol.

Started to work on that, need to test further as results were inconclusive and hard to tell. But if you check
Carraway's thread, they've all but discounted Vit as being a factor.
