Server Merge - Where to go?

Some people are discussing moving Besaid to Server 8.

The other LS both Fin and I are in brought this to my attention, so my vote would go to 8. Especially since we've got no particular preference.Arcell

Fine with me! Server 8 is the current choice.

Yeah I'm watching that thread as well; I didn't want to say 8 for sure since it's been <24hrs but it looks like things are headed that way. If your other LS definitely decides on 8 let me know so we know which to put more consideration into.

Edit: this also goes for anyone in multiple shells btw :)

I am waiting on my "official" vote for a while since people are still discussing the topic but I am leaning toward 8 if only that it was /shouted in Ul'dah all early morning since the announcement and it is all over the official forums.

Something to keep in mind is that if you have friends who are not paying now for whatever reason who had plans to return before 2.0, now is a good time to try and contact them. Even if it does feel a little like being a mafia debt collector. >_>
