Thanks for the thread, Avraym! It's great that you made a thread for this specifically to help out your fellow adventurers! I wanted to chime in here and let you know that we realize this kind of information should be more readily available so in 1.21 we'll be adding the NPCs names and locations to the Achievement UI to make it easier to understand where to go and who to talk to!Bayohne

That's nice… Had to find them the old fashion way, a web site where someone already posted pics of their location on the map.

They were also posted in the 1.20 patch notes, with coordinates.

Also you're free to keep your Chocobo, I will be riding in style.

First off, we wanted to share a note from Yoshida that was posted late last night, in regards to him being unavailable for the past few days.

Hi all, Producer/Director Yoshida here.

I feel like I have been out of touch with you all and I apologize for that. At the start of the year I was out with a fever for 2 days.

That said, I have a lot of things in the pipeline at the moment such as patch 1.20b (including a special mount!), the next Producer Letter, and the third Player’s Survey, so please hang in there for just a little while longer!Yoshida

And as for the "special mount" that he mentioned… Hurray for Goobbues!! I've always loved these creatures. There's just something about them that makes me go "dawwww", even when they mysteriously appeared and owned me when I first explored the La Noscea region. I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU!

More mounts are always a good thing! I will catch 'em all!Rukkirii

That mount is awesome.

I can only dream that the special mount is something that all current supporters can have or obtain in a reasonable way, rather than something only hardcore current supporters can get via some very difficult raid group based chain quest or a mindless months long grinding session… or both. I just don't have the time I did back when I was playing FF11.

I thought you got the mount based on how long you'd been playing….?

The mount is available now to anyone above level 30, all you need to do is talk to a guy south of Camp Bloodshore, Wandering Minstrel(36,25). As of 2.0, the mount will dissapear.

We're currently looking into the possibility of giving mounts the ability to jump once we implement the jump feature. Once we have more information to share, we'll be sure to pass it on. :DRukkirii

The dev. team hasn't decided whether or not they will eliminate the delivery quests quota or make adjustments to ease up on them, but adjustments along these lines are currently being looked into.Rukkirii

Greetings,

As Estellios mentioned, we posted some words from Yoshida on the current plan in December. In that post, we said we'd be watching the population numbers in January and planning how to proceed from there. We also said we might have an update around mid-January, but I wanted to let you know that there is a slight delay with that and we plan on making further details known as soon as we can.Bayohne
