So I realize I haven't mentioned the Humble Indie Bundle project to you guys. For those who don't know the humble bundle project is a fund-raising event designed to raise money for the Child's Play charity and the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF).

As the name implies, the product as it were is a bundle of games, usually of the "indie" variety though they've secured some big names in the past. You pay anything you want for this bundle of games and your money is divided amongst the developers of the games, Child's Play, the EFF and the people who organize the event. Often there are bonuses for paying more than the current average. In addition to all that sometimes more games are added before the event is over. Anyone who payed previously receives those games as well for no added charge.

The games are DRM-free which means you can download them on any computer as many times as you want, no questions asked. You can also redeem the games on Steam which is a lot easier to keep track of often.

Currently the titles are: LIMBO, Psychonauts, Amnesia: the Dark Descent, Superbrothers: Swords and Sorcery EP and, as an added bonus, Bastion if you pay above the average. These games are fucking fantastic and I would suggest anyone who hasn't already take advantage of the humble bundle.

paypal is a pain to use sometimes, I use amazon since I have an account there anyway and I've never had an issue. Google is probably pretty safe too.
