That's right Mog King down! Also, I took the second least damage ;3Silvano Conri
You were rocking it tonight. I have to admit I am a bit jealous. I don't have the kind of playstyle diversity to switch classes on the fly and do that well yet.
Now that my brain has had a few hours to process the fight, here's some stuff that we all probably noticed but I am going to type it out anyway:
The best way to handle phase two is what Arcell said during the fight. When the King, BLM (Pomburner) and/or MRD (Kapa) are in the center, all range should run to the outer ring keeping an eye on where these three are until they leave the center. When they are on the outer ring, be in the center.
We should probably establish a direction to run in when you have one the the moogles who needs to be kited on you. The only time I ran clockwise I stupidly ran smack into the King as he Pom-Flared because I was too busy looking behind me at the moogles I was kiting. Our last attempt we all ran counter clockwise, which worked out very well.
Never kite across the room.
BLMs, WHMs and probably BRDs should always run from the GLD (Koop), BLM (Pomburner), THF (Tailturner), MRD (Kapa). These are all moogles worth binding if the kiter is a WHM or looks like they are taking too much damage. Everyone should stay away from the King if possible.
When kiting a moogle do not attempt any binds or heals, even if they are "instant". The moogles can still hit you from across the room, probably due to server lag, and any instant casts will cost more health than it's worth. Save instant cast heal (Second Wind) if someone manages to bind the thing you are kiting. The only people who should attempt to bind are people either not being chased, or have hate on a moogle that does not need to be kited.
Not every moogle needs to be kited. Having hate on the WHM (Kipp) is the best, because he does not hit for much and usually stands around anyway. The BRD (Shaggysong) himself does not need to be kited, though when he makes a friend big you have to run from it. The Arc (Kogi) does not need to be kited either, but you really have to be ready for his Moogle Shot which leaves a very obvious mark on you just before it goes off.
