You were rocking it tonight. I have to admit I am a bit jealous. I don't have the kind of playstyle diversity to switch classes on the fly and do that well yet.

Now that my brain has had a few hours to process the fight, here's some stuff that we all probably noticed but I am going to type it out anyway:

The best way to handle phase two is what Arcell said during the fight. When the King, BLM (Pomburner) and/or MRD (Kapa) are in the center, all range should run to the outer ring keeping an eye on where these three are until they leave the center. When they are on the outer ring, be in the center.

We should probably establish a direction to run in when you have one the the moogles who needs to be kited on you. The only time I ran clockwise I stupidly ran smack into the King as he Pom-Flared because I was too busy looking behind me at the moogles I was kiting. Our last attempt we all ran counter clockwise, which worked out very well.

Never kite across the room.

BLMs, WHMs and probably BRDs should always run from the GLD (Koop), BLM (Pomburner), THF (Tailturner), MRD (Kapa). These are all moogles worth binding if the kiter is a WHM or looks like they are taking too much damage. Everyone should stay away from the King if possible.

When kiting a moogle do not attempt any binds or heals, even if they are "instant". The moogles can still hit you from across the room, probably due to server lag, and any instant casts will cost more health than it's worth. Save instant cast heal (Second Wind) if someone manages to bind the thing you are kiting. The only people who should attempt to bind are people either not being chased, or have hate on a moogle that does not need to be kited.

Not every moogle needs to be kited. Having hate on the WHM (Kipp) is the best, because he does not hit for much and usually stands around anyway. The BRD (Shaggysong) himself does not need to be kited, though when he makes a friend big you have to run from it. The Arc (Kogi) does not need to be kited either, but you really have to be ready for his Moogle Shot which leaves a very obvious mark on you just before it goes off.

You're going to make me blush ;P. Besides DD is DD in essence, it's just where you stand. You're still more efficient and better at hate management ^^. Besides, Neimi will tell you I suck at healing.

As for the notes; I agree with….all of it. In terms of binding; look/listen for the MRD and/or King if it's not on our tank, since they have the AoEs that suck. The others listed are important as well; especially with GLD 2nd on the kill list since he takes a little longer.

Whoever has hate on the individual moogles when they go down in phase 1 has hate on them in phase 2.

After Pomburner goes down, having the mage who is kiting the GLD run to the center to tank it has been working out very well.

Yep, it's been working consistently. We got 3 wins that way out of 4 runs.

Taking out King while kiting him just seems to be taking way too long. I honestly think we could just tank him in one spot, you just have to watch out for Pomflare. Even then Warriors have enough health to only go into yellow when it's used.

Also whenever a moogle calls for help from the King, whoever has hate on that moogle gets hate on the King as well. It turns green on whoever's kiting it. Not a whole lot that can be done there.

Warriors do have the hp for it put you have to take in account other jobs(punk ass drgs) also the dmg from the waerior thats still alive. Going all honey badger every 3thing sec.

Willing to try straight tanking jist voicing those con

Right and it is a concern, though we could also try to avoid Pomflare. I mean I've seen people do it on multiple occasions lol. Monks have Fists of Wind, Dragoons have Elusive Jump, Warriors have awesome HP. All ways to survive lol.

I am all for trying to tank the king in one spot. For Pom-Flare damage, keep in mind that the damage is greater the closer you are to the center of the blast when it goes off. Any class can survive being hit so long as they are not standing at ground zero and have a decent amount of health, so as long as melee jogs away it should be fine.

As for other cons, we would lose interrupting the King's heals on the MRD through kiting unless whoever is tanking the MRD pulls him far away, and gain the King healing himself for more through hitting the tank consistently. I think these are minor so long as everyone is on top of it though.
